Olene Walker is Sworn into Office as the First Female Governor of Utah

Olene Walker assumes the Governor’s office as Utah’s 15th Governor after Mike Leavitt was nominated to lead the Environmental Protection Agency. Prior to her time as Governor, Olene spent eight years in the state legislature and served as Lt. Governor of Utah for 10 years.
