KUED Hosts Screening, Discussion About Utah Air Quality

KUED will host a free preview screening of its newest documentary, The Air We Breathe on Tuesday, February 4 at 7:00 p.m. at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. The film, produced by Issac Goeckeritz (Brigham Street), examines the causes, the risks, and the costs and consequences of Utah's air quality. 

Following the film, a presentation will be given by Robert Grow, president and CEO of Envision Utah. Grow will present the results of behavioral research on air quality in Utah released by Envision Utah.  Following his remarks will be a Q & A on health issues with the  audience and Dr. Robert Paine, who is the Chief of the Division of Respiratory Critical Care and Occupational Pulmonary Medicine at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He is also the Director of the University of Utah Program for Air Quality, Health, and Society. 

After the program, audience members will be able to visit with
 local groups who are working on the issue. The groups, representing a variety of perspectives, will have resources and materials available.
