KUED Wins Emmys
KUED productions have won three Rocky Mountain Emmy Awards. Homeless at the End, produced by Sally Shaum and Nancy Green with videography by John Rogers, took the award in the Societal Concerns Program Special category. The documentary followed the journey of a homeless man through hospice and his last days at The Inn Between in Salt Lake City.
Lagoon: Rock and Rollercoasters received the Audio-Live/Post Production Award for sound engineers William Montoya, Brenton Winegar, and Kevin Sweet.
On the Spectrum, the KUED documentary about autism, took the top prize in the Documentary Cultural/Topical category. The documentary was produced by Paige Sparks and Dana Barraco with videography by John Rogers and sound by Brenton Winegar.
