KUED World Airs Live Coverage of Kavanaugh Hearing

PBS and PBS NewsHour will provide live broadcast and streaming coverage of Senate confirmation hearings of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh Tuesday, September 4 through Thursday, September 6.  Coverage will air on KUED World, Channel 7.2 (also Comcast 390).

PBS NewsHour Special Coverage: Brett Kavanaugh Senate Confirmation Hearings will provide full coverage of the hearings  beginning at 7:30 a.m. MST on Tuesday, September 4. The start times on Wednesday, September 5 and 6 are to be determined. The coverage will be anchored by editor Judy Woodruff with correspondent Lisa Desjardins from the U.S. Capitol.

Guests for the daytime coverage include Marcia Coyle, chief Washington correspondent for The National Law Journal; Elizabeth Wydra, president of the Constitutional Accountability Center; and Roman Martinez, a former clerk for Kavanaugh.

The coverage will be streamed live online at pbs.org/newshour as well as on Facebook, Twitter/PeriscopeYouTube and Ustream.

The live coverage does not affect the regular PBS NewsHour program.
