New Season of Call the Midwife
Call the Midwife is back for its seventh season on KUED following the lives of midwives in the 1960s in London's East End. Their work brings them inn contact with a number of challenges from leprosy to stroke, cataracts, and unmarried mothers. The premiere on Sunday, March 25 at 7:00 p.m. includes the first two episodes running back to back.

While she is quick to settle in, Nurse Lucille Anderson, the first West Indian midwife, faces racial prejudice as the series attempts to explores the experiences of Caribbean nurses who came to Britain in the 1960s.
