Press Release

Airdate:
Thursday, September 27, 2018 - 8:00am

PBS is planning live broadcast coverage of follow-up Senate hearings on Thursday, September 27, with Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh and with Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, who has accused Kavanaugh of sexual assault when they were teenagers.

The Senate Judiciary Committee hearing is tentatively set for Thursday. The hearing and live coverage are expected to start at 8:00 a.m. MST, with no specific estimate on duration as of now.

PBS NEWSHOUR will provide live broadcast coverage that KUED will carry on KUED World - Channel 7.2 or Comcast 390. The hearings will also be available live streaming on PBS NEWSHOUR at pbs.org/newshour/video.

Because the hearings have the likelihood of strong language and content, PBS NEWSHOUR cautions viewer discretion.
