Series: Stories from the Stage

Stories from the Stage illustrates the power of real stories told by masterful storytellers. The first season presents a culturally rich array of tellers, including a young man seeking asylum from political violence in the Congo; a Korean-American woman who was held at gunpoint in her father’s store; a gay man who escapes his repressive Southern town thanks to his love of dance; and a young woman who feels compelled to donate a kidney to a stranger.

The series is hosted by Theresa Okokon and Wes Hazard. Theresa is a multiple-time Finalist at Massmouth’s Big Mouth Off, and Wes a is multiple-time winner of the Moth StorySLAM stage.
